As we learn everything through the sergeant's eyes, the identification has been built up throughout the entire film and therefore the final wicker man scene comes even harder and stronger, leaving us shiver in total hopelessness. (When the sergeant shouts desperately 'can't you see there is no sun god!', does he have a fleeting doubt about his Lord Jesus Christ too?)

拍摄手法很特别，很有新意。我的感悟

和看过一遍的人一起看的 老电影的演技总有自己的那种调调 感觉和观众总是隔了一层 但是cult的设计确实是开创性的 隐喻虽然铺的老套 但是混在真实文化背景下面又被扩深了 最后的献祭 冲击感太屌了 确实值得被模仿到现在 因为整个cult都还算能自圆其说 展现的又刚刚好 挺真实的一部cult
