一群欧洲演员故意说着俄腔英文台词，故意设置在复杂时代背景下的侦探片。2条线，一条是侦探线，一条是无比波澜汹涌的大时代背景，时代背景是虚线，但是它反而回来严重影响了侦探线的叙事，碍于长度关系，电影很多细节太快，背景情节大而无当。但是有助于了解当年铁幕下的苏联。
